The list goes on and on! We'll create a day specifically for you, full of EPIC MEMORIES, and ADVENTURE!

Step 1: Decide to Elope.

The first step is obvious, but it's an important decision to make. It can be hard to weigh the pros and cons of having a traditional wedding day vs. the wedding day you want. I know family is very important and it might feel like you're cutting them out of the biggest day of your life. But they don't have to be. You can always invite a few friends and family to the elopement. Or you can add on video and we can film the entire ceremony for them to enjoy after. Eloping means you are spending the day celebrating marriage with your partner. Whatever that looks like to you, no matter others' opinions.

Step 2: Hire an Elopement Photographer/Planner.

This is a key step, as you will want an expert to guide you through the process. An elopement photographer will help you find the best locations, create a timeline for you and ultimately curate your big adventure. Plus! If they're ordained like me, they can officially marry you and your partner. They will guide you through the entire process and be your wedding day bestie. It's important they're a good fit and understand your vision for the day.

Step 3: Discuss your vision for the day.

Once you've hired your elopement photographer it'll be time to discuss your vision for the day. I typically send my clients a few questionnaires to get a full understanding of what is most important to them on their wedding day.

Step 4: Pick 1-3 locations.

Once you have your vision and values sorted, it'll be time to explore locations. I send my clients location guides so I can match their vision with the best location. It is important to find someone who knows the area really well, what the crowds are like, the best time of the day for good light, and any permits that are required. I've lived in South Florida for over 20 years so I know all of the hidden gems and ins and outs!

Step 5: Pick 1-3 meaningful activities.

The activities will go hand in hand with the locations. You'll need a location to have the ceremony and then a few locations dependent on the activities you'd like to do together. As I listed previously, the options are endless! Are you interested in going for a romantic boat ride and having a picnic? How about getting food at your favorite diner and then getting matching tattoos? Pick things that are dear to you, these are the moments you'll remember most. Your first memories as a married couple!

Step 6: Plan the biggest adventure of your life!

You are on your way to the most epic day of marriage! Once you've chosen a photographer, and spoken about your vision, locations, and activities, the plans should be well underway! The photographer should put together a custom timeline for you. I like to offer help with vendor recommendations, whether that is food, outfits, flowers, or any other details!
