A Beach Elopement
So you want to get married on the beach? Sounds like a dream come true until you realize the sun, sand, and sea can make dressing up a little tricky.
To stay cool and chic at your beach elopement in Florida, choose lightweight fabrics like cotton, linen, or silk.
Don’t be afraid to get into the water (even if it is just a little bit!). Get your dress wet at the end for some super romantic photos – you can live out your mermaid dreams and you won’t regret it!
A good elopement outfit idea is a flowy maxi dress or a short silk dress paired with gem sandals that will keep you feeling breezy and stylish.
You could even change into a new outfit after to have a beach picnic or change into a swimsuit so we can capture some sexy newlywed honeymoon photos!
So go ahead, say your vows with the ocean as your witness. Just remember, the only thing hotter than the Florida sun is you in your outfit!
Courthouse Elopement
Are you ready to tie the knot in front of a judge?
A court elopement may not be as adventurous as a beach or nature elopement, but it doesn’t mean you can’t still look stylish.
First things first, leave the ball gown at home. Instead, opt for a long silk dress and heels. This look is sophisticated, chic and somewhat mysterious! Add some flair to your look by opting for a dress with a bow in the back or putting a bow in your hair.
But wait, there’s more…Spice up your elopement outfit with some accessories. A statement necklace or a pair of earrings can add some personality and charm to your look.
The courthouse is in the main part of the city so we can go for a walk around downtown after and take some super chic photos.
Once we go outside, pull out some sunglasses and pose for some cool kids' courthouse elopement photos! Bring the champagne and pop it open! Have a few drinks and run around the city with your bestie for fun and romantic pictures.
You can even stop at your favourite restaurant after and I will be there to capture your first meal as Mr and Mrs…what more could you want?
So, run away together and have a romantic courthouse elopement!
Nature or Park Elopement
Who says you need a fancy venue to get married?
Florida’s parks and nature reserves are the perfect place for a budget-friendly and Instagram-worthy elopement. Plus, you get to share your special day with wildlife, nature and sunshine. What could be more romantic?
When it comes to elopement outfit ideas, embrace an enchanting look even in the midst of nature. Picture a fairy-like ambience where you can channel your inner Tinkerbell, adorned in a charming flower crown paired with either a pixie short dress or a sleeveless dress.
Alternatively, opt for a boho vibe with a flowing, long dress, transforming into a forest princess. You can consider ethereal shades like white or soft caramel which complements the nature around you perfectly.
For those truly embracing the fairy essence, a light pink or a dress adorned with vibrant flowers would be perfect! These two will radiate you as the queen and king of the forest, enhancing your look with bouquets for a touch of nature.
You can even choose an evening elopement – envision a candlelit picnic, savoring your first meal beneath the dreamy blue skies, watching the sunset, and concluding the night with a dance beneath the stars.
Florida's Natural Springs
Ready to take the plunge in Florida’s natural springs?
Not only will you get to say “I do” in crystal clear waters you get to elope in style with these elopement outfit ideas.
Don’t be afraid to go for a dip in the waters – get your gown wet at the end for a captivating effect, particularly if you want to capture some underwater pictures with your dress billowing gracefully.
In these pristine, crystal-clear waters, we can create an iconic underwater kissing moment. And for those feeling adventurous, you could opt to get married in a stunning swimsuit if you’re feeling bold or change into one for some alluring and playful romantic photographs.
And don’t forget to wear water shoes or sandals, as the rocks can be slippery. You don’t want to end up slipping and sliding instead of walking down the aisle.
And if you’re worried about your hair and makeup getting ruined by the water, don’t worry! Just wear waterproof makeup and tie your hair in a bun or a braid. Not only will this look effortless, but you’ll also avoid the dreaded frizz and flyaways.
Get ready to dive into married life in the aquamarine springs of Florida. Who needs a ball gown when you can wear a swimsuit? Just make sure to dry off before the honeymoon.
Windy Season Elopement
Ah, the windy season in Florida.
It's like Mother Nature is trying to blow your wedding away. With the right elopement outfit ideas, you can look great and stay warm.
First things first, ditch the ball gown and the veil. Instead, opt for a loose, flowing dress that elegantly dances in the wind, with an emphasis on a graceful flow.
Instead of a veil, which may be affected by the breeze, consider a flower crown, a snug bun, or a braided hairstyle adorned with baby's breath.
Alternatively, a second choice could be a form-fitting mermaid skirt dress. Seeking refuge from the wind among the sea grapes, you can find a cozy spot. If the weather is cool, you can enjoy a picnic, snuggled under blankets, or retreat from the wind to a charming restaurant, capturing the essence of your first meal together.
As for shoes, say goodbye to your sandals and hello to closed-toe shoes. And don't forget to bring a scarf or a hat to protect your head from the gusts. If you're feeling extra fancy, wear a beret or a fedora. Who says you can't look like a chic Parisian in Florida?
And if it's too windy to elope outdoors, consider an indoor location. It may not be as adventurous as a beach or a nature elopement, but it's better than being caught in the wind if this isn’t your vibe! And who knows, maybe you'll discover a hidden gem of a venue that you wouldn't have found otherwise.
It may not be the most ideal weather, but it adds character and charm to your elopement!
